We were just crossing the state line when the tow truck was trying to get into the right lane. I blocked traffic so he could get over. The trailer was empty? Who got the chicken

This is why you do a pre trip check of your trailer before you get it out on the road. If he had done one he would have seen that there are at least two of the tires that I can see that are bad. One of the tires. Look like it blew which could have led to him over compensating and loosing control of his rig. My husband was a long haul trucker for 13 years and I did many of those pre trip checks with him.

Do they have a cause for this accident? Could it have been due to a blow out on the 2 tires that have absolutely no tread? Wow.

I once worked w/ DOT in the I 10 Scales. These “frozen chicken ” haulers would come in regular
w/ legal permitted gross weight of 95K lbs. often.
