My husband and I were the ones in the truck. We were headed towards nine mile road. We had the green light at Wilde Lake Blvd. The person in the Jeep Cherokee pulled right out in front of us to get onto the east bound ramp of I-10. We were informed that the person admitted to not having their glasses on, so the person misjudged the turn. We were not speeding at all!! My husband ended up with a broken bone in his back and my right ankle is broke. We had a very hard time breathing for an entire week. We always wear our seatbelts. If we were not wearing them we could’ve been critically injured or killed. We had only a second before we noticed she was going to continue pulling right out im front of us. My husband had only enough time to slightly turn his steering wheel to the right. We ended up in the middle of two poles. I really thought we were about to die. We would’ve left our 5 children with no parents.

It must be something like not paying attention to demolish a vehicle like the ones pictured,10-15 years ago maybe 1 a week in the news now it’s multiple daily.In a hurry to go nowhere so get up earlier or leave earlier and quit putting peoples lives in danger!

The very same location a man and his girlfriend were killed last year. People trying to turn into the on-ramp for I-10 continually turn into oncoming traffic. It’s poor judgement skills and these people should have their license revoked. So unnecessary.
