True, nut a 14 day wait isn’t necessary. According to Harvard Medical School, as of June 17:

“If you get the nasal/throat swab or saliva test, you will get a false negative test result:

“100% of the time on the day you are exposed to the virus. (There are so few viral particles in your nose or saliva so soon after infection that the test cannot detect them.)
About 40% of the time if you are tested four days after exposure to the virus.
About 20% of the time if you develop symptoms and are tested three days after those symptoms started.”

So testing the day someone shows up with it won’t tell you anything IF that was the first day anyone else was exposed. IF that one was infected but didn’t know it several days ago, folks around that one might have been exposed earlier and the test could let them know. (And despite what one campaigning in Tulsa said recently, knowledge is better than ignorance. Tests are finally available much more widely. and should be taken.)

Just tell the public the truth. It’s not difficult. An employee or employees got it. We sanitized and have opened back up with new staff pending test results of the existing employees. See it’s not that difficult.
