Thinking mask will stop covid is like thinking your underwear will stop a fart. 99.62% survival rate. Most of the positive test are young people who are asymptomatic. Also the death rate was fallen so people losing their minds over this is RIDICULOUS. Funny how people care more about C19 but less about the 1,000,000 babies killed by Planned Parenthood. This is all about control and you people are sheeps...

"I hate to have to be the one to say it but the death rate of people who contract this virus is still on par with our regular old seasonal flu."

What you are claiming is simply not true. Based on the numbers IN THE ARTICLE YOU ARE COMMENTING ON, the fatality rate is nearly 3 percent (2.92%). The fatality rate for the seasonal flu in 2019, based on CDC data, was .10%. That means that the fatality rate for Covid-19 is THIRTY TIMES HIGHER THAN THE RATE FOR THE FLU. 34,000 people died of the flu last year in the US, again, that is date from the CDC. Four times that number have died from the coronavirus in the last 4 months. Feel free to point out any numbers or math that I got wrong.

REGARDING:
"you can riot, steal, and burn down cities without consequence"

Actually, you can't. That way leads to death. On the other hand, no cities have been burned down so it must have been a hypothetical conjecture and conclusion.

I might also mention not every demonstration is a riot, not every participant is a thief or an arsonist.

David still for truth

REGARDING:
"I hate to have to be the one to say it but the death rate of people who contract this virus is still on par with our regular old seasonal flu."

Flu regularly kills 126,780 Americans (and counting -- still killing)? And from 2,464,404 known infections.

Would it do any good to point out this not true? Probably not. (Won't stop me, though.)

"CDC estimates that influenza has resulted in between 9 million – 45 million illnesses, between 140,000 – 810,000 hospitalizations and between 12,000 – 61,000 deaths annually since 2010." https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/index.html#:~:text=While%20the%20impact%20of%20flu,61%2C000%20deaths%20annually%20since%202010

Thus, COVID-19 is already more than ten times as deadly as flu in the low years with
just 27% as many infections, more than twice the highest when there are more than 18 times as many flu cases.

Is there some political reason to pretend COVID-19 isn't worse?

Right on DL...the thing thats just baffling is when America was burning a few weeks ago covid 19 was hardly even mentioned on the fake news outlets. But suddenly it's the top story again. ..WOW ! Don't forget in some areas (like Tallahassee ) you'll be fined if you don't wear a mask but you can riot, steal, and burn down cities without consequence. Go figure.

Probably Pensacola because of zip code.
