I had a traffic issue one day. A person in another vehicle tried to hit side of my vehicle while traveling on HWY 90 in Milton. I followed the other vehicles to a parking lot with intent of getting his tag number, the man got out of his vehicle and ran up to my vehicle. My mistake was getting out of my vehicle, he assaulted me knocked me to the ground and jumped on my back (I’m 64). His wife called the police, when I got up I got into my vehicle to use my phone.
When the police arrived they talked to the man an his wife then they ordered me out of vehicle at gun point. I was handcuffed an sat on the ground, after sometime passed an officer finally came over an read me my rights an asked me what happen. All I told him was I had a camera on the front windshield. After they viewed the video they put him and his wife in handcuffs and apologized to me and uncuffed me.
The moral of this story is that had I not had the camera who knows what could have happened to me or him. Everyone should be cautous because you never know where a camera is watching ever move you make. A camera in your car can help you in many ways.
