The hwy 29 and 9 mile Rd overpass started construction before they started the 3 mile bridge construction. Check how much is complete on both. I say the company doing the 9 mile Rd project should get their mail sent to them on 9 mile Rd since they have apparently homesteaded it. This whole project they’re doing is already obsolete. My hats off to our planners, you’re still running in reverse.

Which Commission candidates get donations from Roads Inc, and are in the planning commission that includes S.R.County as well? Local officials do have input.

All you experts ought to start a road construction company. Find people willing to work the hours, in the heat or cold, days, nights (or whenever the whining public thinks you ought to work), apply for the necessary permits, make the permit modifications when things change, coordinate with the utilities, the local businesses, the county, the state, and the public. Make sure the people you hire want to work both days and nights, and they have someone to watch their children when everything is closed or shutdown.

All those saying they ought to get the contractor who works on HWY 29 to do 9-Mile…..Guess what, it is the same company. Move the crews from 29 to 9-Mile and you will whine about Hwy 29.

They need to hire the bridge contractor for the new 3 mile bridge.
They have removed one side of the 3 mile bridge, built a new 5 lane wide bridge, over water. They started 6-17 and had one new span open 9-19 and will be complete with the project mid 021.

From FDOT. So much for early 2019. Only 2.5 years behind schedule that will mostly likely be 4 years behind. Fire them and hire the Disney crews that are out of work. The Disney roads are legit!
