Spanish Fort is graduating their seniors June 2 in the stadium. I would MUCH prefer this route for my Pace High senior!!!

Why can’t Escambia County work together like Jay? Why can’t the original dates be used and have all the graduation ceremonies at the Blue Wahoo Stadium?
Ceremonies should not be held indoors anywhere.

This is so stupid! Why not do the graduation outside? How about utilizing the football field at your own school and just having graduation when it was originally planned so all the seniors can enjoy. Some will be going off to boot camp or to jobs outside the state. If it’s OK to go to Walmart and to the gym then it’s OK to celebrate these kids and their accomplishments!!

Too bad the graduations couldn’t have been held at each High School stadium on or close to the original date. So many students will be gone by the beginning of June and will miss their graduation.

We are wondering if the limit will be 4 guest per. Graduate for escambia high school, like the other schools. We were wondering how it will work if you have 4 siblings and 2 parents? We understand not a lot of people will be able to come but there are many families that are big and many don’t have phones or any devices to be able to watch it.

The community of Jay will have a student lead, parent and community supported graduation ceremony on May 28th the original date of their graduation. It will be held at the Jay arena on Highway 4 at 6:00 PM. Several community members have reached out and planned this event for these well deserving and proud Jay High graduates. The seniors have missed out on so many events that are traditional to the Jay students and the community would like to give them a small portion of their much deserved recognition. We realize the School Board is very limited in what they can do at this time. We look forward for the support and interest of the community of Jay.

Go Alabama! Getting on with graduation right now not sometime in late June or July when some won’t or can’t participate because of life plans, like military service.
