I think before they open the pipes landing they should have put speed bumps in for the residents because people fly down through here like no children live here.

@ Tabby-If they weren’t patrolled you couldn’t go down there. The “trash” would overrun the place in short order-I remember Muscogee bridge. They put 55 gallon drums out for trash and they shot them full of holes and threw them in the river. They put a power pole with a night light over the boat ramp and they cut it down and burned it for firewood.If a portable toilet was there they’d turn it over too. Broken glass everywhere,fights,drugs,drunks,you name it. We went down the river and our truck was vandalized. Barrineau Park bridge was just as bad. Throwing dirty diapers on the ground with a trash can 20 foot away is disgusting and lazy but Hey-that’s what trash does. I wouldn’t care if someone caught littering got 6 months of weekend trash detail-orange vest,gloves,stick with a nail in the end,the works. Throw some more trash down Stupid. This garbage bag’s for you!

I agree!!! Miss the days before the landing was there. Didnt know it then but man “fillingims” and “ottos” they a hidden paradises of Barrineau. Four wheeler and horses no cars, well the hunters, but i didnt mind sharing their land and niether did they after a few ground rules were finally established. The Good Old days!!!

Darn. How very nice it was with all those folks gone from Fillingims. Less trash, less trash (yes, two different kinds), less crowded, no FWC officers out solely to write tickets. It reminded me of how it was before Fillingims. So nice.
