@Bring It On, you show a shockingly shallow level of economics and the role of capitalism. I would suggest you take some higher level college classes to better inform yourself.
There is no such thing as pure capitalism and subsidies can be used to push innovation forward.
I am sure you still use a horse and buggy because a car would be socialism to your limited thinking.

I never understand why cities do the things they do. They waste so much of our money and are never held accountable. It’s like Amtrak, electric cars,windmills, and solar all subsidized. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they would take that money and actually put it in something that turns a profit, you know capitalism.
