The disease was first discovered in China. They did everything in their power to stop it there, including sealing off the city. They announced the disease the month it hit them and shortly after they had decided it really was a different disease. They told the world.

Various security agencies in America reported it to the president. They also reported to him that infected people were showing up all around Asia and Europe, that it was very dangerous. News reporters announced it as soon as they knew.

The president declared it a HOAX, some DEEP STATE CONSPIRACY, that it had been contained, and then he went out and played some more golf, held some more political rallies.

He did nothing to prepare for it. He never asked to replenish supplies set aside for such things which had been used during the previous H1N1 flu outbreak.

He made it clear he wasn’t worried because it had only killed Chinese. When he did decide to act, he blocked Chinese coming from China, but not others coming from China and ignored the people coming in from Europe and the Middle East.

He ignored the preventative instructions the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC, had prepared.. In fact he announced that no such pandemic had ever happened before in the history of the world, but he had fixed it.

The Chinese didn’t turn it loose on themselves to kill us and the rest of the 353,071 — and counting — who have died so far. The blame for any avoidable deaths falls on any who chose to ignore (and are STILL ignoring) the many warnings .
