If your kids aren't learning from parents while school is out, they probably won't be very successful even when school returns. Learning takes a community. Its a shame we have to play the guessing game as far as who in our community is affected. I pray that they are contact tracing each of them and that our governor stops manipulating the numbers to justify his rapid reopening. I'm and old guy maybe I will die but I don't think it will be from COVID19 ya'll are doing tremendous damage to the economy and emotional well being of our children. Kids are not getting schooled or vaccinated , people with ongoing health problems are not seeking care, domestic abuse is rampant, drug and alcohol use is way up. Suicides are up too. Here is a suggestion. Suck it up, open up the country. If you want to stay home fine, you do that. Just let the rest of us have our liberty and earn a living. Many people do not respect social distancing or wearing masks and these are the only things that are going to protect us at the moment. Life is to short as it is and our young ones deserve a chance at a life. I realize we will never have a real sense of normal again, but this is a chance to start a new normal without fear. I just ask others to be respectful and abide by social distancing and wearing masks along with hand washing or just carrying hand sanitizer with you makes a difference.
