REGARDING:
“there are still people who still think they are going to live forever.”

They only see the living. Even if they went to the funerals of those who died, they soon forget unless reminded. There are plenty who have not known anyone who died of COVID-19 even though some 100,765 (and counting) have, so they assume it must FAKE NEWS, a HOAX, people pretending to be dead for political reasons..

It is much like criminals. People see the ones who are not in prison, so they assume they will never to go prison if they go into crime. There is not a lot of thinking going on.

Please remember your positive comments.When children along with adults get the virus and die or get sick your tune will change in a hurry.Myself I haven’t changed my life style one bit except to practice social distance and wear a mask.On the other hand a family member has the virus and has good days and has been battling it for several weeks now. I do miss the family visits. Please be safe.

People can’t even make decisions on how to go to Walmart in a way that is safe, so I’m thinking this is a bit optimistic. With DeSantis having fired everyone who wouldn’t issue the infection and death rate numbers that he wants, though, I guess he figures the fix is in.
