Does anyone have really recent experience with how long results take? I need to get tested no more than 12 days before an event and I'm worried I won't even get results in time

This is crazy...I was tested June 30th, today is July 7th...I have been calling and emailing since day 3 of waiting since they said 3 to five days. Apparently Friday (holiday) Saturday and Sunday do not count...and they asked me to call back AFTER the 5th day...so even if result is negative..I will have missed over a week of work while waiting on results. My employer is being AMAZING but for how long? The test itself is super simple and easy. Discomfort not PAIN. None of that matters if I never get results. Each time you call...HOURS waiting on hold.

Like some others on this thread, I went about a 10-12 days ago and have not received results. Neither have my 2 family members that went also.

Has anyone received results back from this site? Are they only notifying those who tested positive?

At the site, they gave you paper that said you would get phone call within 3-5 days and two numbers to call if you don't get a call. One goes direct to a voicemail (have left several with no response) and the other has a recording that says they don't give results and to contact your healthcare provider who ordered it.
I am not impressed and feel the contractor who is supposed to be doing the testing/reporting is doing a sorry job. FL is paying for it and our citizens are not getting what we pay for. At this point, I wonder if they are even processing the tests they take??

William - this might be a good investigation if you feel up to digging into it.

@ Faith Williams- it is open to all ages
@Twi Hinton- it doesn't hurt- I would say it is briefly uncomfortable, but it is so fast.

For those asking, the test is free-- there is no cost and you do not need insurance.

It's been over a week and no results. Calling the first number, just rings, then finally goes to voicemail. The second number just gives a recorded message saying that you can't get your results at this number.
Doesn't make much sense to get tested if you're not going to get a response.

I went. The road was well marked to the testing site. No long lines, no cost, and they only asked for Driver license and about five questions. The personnel testing had full medical protective gear. It was a nasal swab, so no needles. Quick test! I was told that I would be called with the results in 2 to 5 days.
