How do I pay the toll if I’m in a rental car and I’m visiting from England in the UK

I visited Pensacola Beach today for once only, we are from the UK and driving a hire car from Atlanta, Georgia.
Obviously we had no means of paying the toll, what do we do ?
How do we pay ?
Will Hertz the car hire company put their own charges on as well ?

Not being able to pay cash is what I consider the biggest problem. If you hardly use the bridge and don’t do electronic/computer garbage your screwed! When company comes from out of state I’ll take them to Johnson’s beach. They make things too difficult for some people- not that they care, they don’t!!

I don’t quite understand how this works. Never dealt with a toll bridge in my life. But i need to go to the Pensacola beach for just 2 days going over the toll bridge (to and from once each day). What’s the best choice for paying the toll,? in advance and/or being billed?
No use for a annual pass & I refuse to put any device on my car.

I drove through the tollbooth in Pensacola twice while visiting from the west coast. It has been months and I am not able to pay via Sunpass nor received an invoice. I am
extremely concerned about having a random bill out there attached to my name that I am not receiving. I am not looking forward to being sent to collections for under $5 because your system is a disaster. Please fix this Florida. So one lane where people can pay upon passing through.

The fee is not always once a month, found out from a friend that received a few bills after visiting. I didn’t realize it was only supposed to be 1 fee per cycle till reading this article.
Also sometimes the camera doesn’t pick up the license plate with a Sunpass and it is VERY difficult to talk to someone and get it resolved. I do not think the $1 is bad if used for maintenance but find a resolution for the $2.50 and better camera technology.
