I've never seen such a simple road project take so incredibly long to complete. (Okay, that's not true. The I-110 construction several years ago was truly ridiculous.) There is so much traffic through that area with no viable alternative. Before the social distancing took effect, there were thousands of people sitting in their cars every day waiting in traffic every morning and evening. We really need to outsource the road construction and tie on-time completion to very steep penalties. There must be something that we can do. You can stand out there and watch what is going on, and you quickly see the rampant incompetence in that industry. When will this construction be finished?
