Yesterday was National Mustang Day. Lots of respectful, law-abiding owners out cruising in the beautiful weather, and some clubs and organizations had events. Don’t group legitimate Mustang enthusiasts with the immature nitwits responsible for this mess.
People’s lives have been forever changed. Pray that God will somehow be glorified in this.

Don’t be ignorant…these professionals were just performing a shake down for a big meet I’m sure. All the comments on learning to drive or keep it on the track etc need to look in the rearview mirror at the idiot using the cell phone while driving nose to tail 20 ft apart at 70+ mph on the interstates. You are more risk to the innocent than these guys racing. Bet you have never connected the dots on your driving habits, accidents and insurance rates…cheap I bet!

Not the first time I’ve seen a fox body split in half. Seen one doing the speed limit and split the same way when he had a blow out and hit a tree.

The blue mustang flew by my house @ 875 Archer Road. Literally 3 minutes later a State Trooper took off in the opposite direction to the crash. I will watch for it.

Well, I’ve lived in Molino/Barrineau Park all of my forty something years. I can tell you, my husband does that same thing. Only on barely traveled roads. Then again, if you grew up here in the 70s, 80s, or even 90s, it was commonplace. Of course that was before all the yuppies, Yankees, and “city rednecks” populated the area. Back then, nobody had to figure out what car was racing. Everybody knew each other, literally. Now, I go into the store and lucky to know 4 out of 10. Progress ? Yes, maybe for them.

To M: “I saw them on Beulah Road yesterday evening. It was a whole line of mustangs and a Crown Vic. The car in this photo was in the lead, took the curve in front of the dump and almost didn’t make it. They swerved into my Lane and almost hit me.”

If you are sure this was one of the vehicles, please let authorities know. This could have ended much worse and others basically “got away with it”. I’m thankful it wasn’t worse where innocent folks would have been killed.

My husband saw the blue mustang along side of the one that crashed and another car was with them as well at the Tom Thumb in Cantonment of 29 by the paper plant before the accident. He noticed the cars because they were revving their engines and he likes mustang’s. He went off muskogee to help fix something for his mom it took 5 minutes. On his way home off 9 mile he heard the sirens doe the wreck. He called FHP to let them know they may have footage from he cameras at the gas station and we haven’t heard back from them.

Probably got word of a shipment of tp at the dg..Good thing nobody died, or else we’d have to just ban all driving on roads with power poles. Just to be safe probably a good idea to outlaw mustangs at least until end of may.
