Condolences to the family. I do have a question...why did she go to the hospital if she had no symptoms?

DS: The public is encouraged to come out and pick up restaurant food via a Drive-thru or carry out. Ready cooked meals are handed out to kids on a daily basis. First they say the virus is not transmitted thru food - then we are told to thoroughly wash any grocery item. Who is washing all the plastic carry out boxes at the school bus stops?
I don’t believe a single thing ANY news organization is reporting!

This won't slow down until everyone stays at home. Go to a store buy enough food and supplies to last you a couple of weeks and stay home unless your job is essential. The amount of people going through drive thrus at fast food restaurants is ridiculous. I know this cause my wife works at one. They get the essential people like police officers and nurses but they also get alot of people that just dont want to cook. These workers still have to deal with coughing sick people everyday.if everyone wants to get back to normal then do what needs to be done to get there

I travel from S.r. county to Escambia 5 days a week. The streets and parking lots are empty. It is creepy. Ive seen maybe 7 ppl outside daily for weeks. I think most ppl are trying to stay inside as much as they can. Except those of you hunting yet another pack of t.p. since it seems to be the cure..

Today I saw quite a few families traipsing up and down the grocery isles without masks like nothing going on. I saw grandma, mom and kids still shopping together. I saw dad driving the minivan with mom yelling for the five kids to load up. Was it really ESSENTIAL for both adults to go at the same time?

Everyone has the It won't happen to me mentality! But when it happens to them they say " I wish I would have listened " When they are dying! Guess it's gotta take martial law before these people understand how serious this is.

I am not seeing what your comments are saying. Granted, I do not live in town but I travel 20 miles to work. I have seen a huge difference in cars headed north and south on Hwy 29. The traffic on 95a is also drastically down. To the point that it is eery! So in my opinion the majority of people in District 5 are doing what they are told.

I drive across southern Escambia county almost daily and have for years. For people to come on here and act like people aren't heeding the stay at home orders/reccomendations is crazy. The traffic and the parking lots are a fraction of what they normally are. It is not necessary to continue to focus on the small minority of people who are not complying......there will always be people that don't conform. But by continuing to make light of them you risk further mandates/reccomendations being imposed. Be careful what you wish for!
