I cannot put into words the heartbreak I feel for the older couple who lived in this home. It was not abandoned, though I did not know them personally, I often saw an older gentleman and his small Yorkie dog out in the front yard. They are good neighbors, they kept their house and yard up, and mowed the street side of the empty lot next door when it would become overgrown. I can only imagine what they are going through, they not only lost their home but a lifetime of cherished items. I cannot imagine the heartbreak they themselves must be feeling right now. As a neighbor I want to say I am so sorry for your loss.
I am a bit disheartened by both of the previous two comments, without even pointing out why, as they obviously speak for themselves. Humanity in general really needs to work on compassion and accountability for our own words and actions towards others.

No one knows what Happened.That was someone’s family’s home. Mental health is a big reason it sits there like that today. The young lady who was living there has had very serious demons, I ask for prayers for her. Also prayers for her family. This is a very caring and loving family. But some times the devil swops in and takes everything away . It will take a long time for this family to pick up the pieces and move forward. But I trust in God, he will make away. Do not pass judgement on someone you know nothing about. Wake up and help your neighbors , unless you are in their shoes, you don’t know what’s going on in this world. I hope the family can find piece.

That house has been abandoned for months. The electricity was removed weeks prior to it being abandoned. Even before the fire they were many large openings broken on the house. Most likely arson either by the owner, who is going to try and collect insurance or somebody was tired of looking at an old run-down broken house. Just hope it gets leveled now. Has been quite an eyesore in the neighborhood.
