Thanks for the clarification. So that could be from the Alabama, Florida line south to McDavid and from the Escambia River West to highway 97. That covers a pretty big chunk of real-estate. Correction from previous post, Century proper is 3.4 square miles.

Churches are exempt from the stay at home order. Same with outside exercise as long as social distancing is observed and other "essential" workers. Gas stations, stores....et al. Still a good idea NOT to meet in large gatherings especially if up to 25% of COVID carriers are asymptomatic. They will pass along the virus unintentionally.

@ Alvin Berry
1...Governor DeSantis is not having to run for re-election until 2022 - elected in 2018.
2...Retired Army, you should know that if the General gives an order yet those Colonels and Majors below him choose to not enforce his directives then the blame should fall upon their shoulders, not the top leadership.

Our local sheriff has said his deputies will not be used to enforce the rules set forth about more than 10 persons gathering. Also that the small number of LEO will not respond to "Called local police...."

Not disagreeing with you, just hope you find something good to do for others.
Peace.

DeSantis has no control with local communities not following orders. Speak to your Law Enforcement agencies about official requests set forth at this time. If you will research reading material for Escambia County, you will learn what is happening, and how Escambia is dealing with the situation.

>When they say Century, are they talking about Century proper or the Century mailing area?

We understand it to be zip code.

When they say Century, are they talking about Century proper or the Century mailing area? The actual mailing area of Century is approximate 75 square miles, where as the town is only about 2.4 square miles. I know close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades but I would think we could add this China virus to that list.

Called local police, county cops and hotline on violation of governors order for stay home effective last Friday.
There is a Pensacola church in violation of this order and no one seems to care.
It is poor management period at a cost of more cases of this virus.
I will not vote for DeSantis in November because his orders are not enforced.
Poor leadership. Retired Army
