I think model prisoners, with good behavior that are first time offenders even if labeled violent should be considered . Many are labeled unfairly, lied to by they’re attorneys, and other side lying in court about them with no recourse.

And yet people are still being kept in jail for non violent crimes that could be handled outside of court. Also some of the county inmates can’t see their attorneys because of technical problems.

I think that it’s time to consider releasing some or more of the non violent offender from custody, most of them were sentences that were over and above the crimes they committed. I’ve contacted the Governor’s in Tallahassee on several occasions to ask for them to reduce my own son’s time. He has done more than 65% of his sentence and has been a model convict, I’ve also spoken with the Clemency Department in Tallahassee, who keep saying that the process take a long time but are doing noMthing to speed up the process, maybe by releasing the less dangerous inmates it would also relieve the stress placed on the staff, if that’s a major concern their safety, you have a perfect opportunity to make this situation better for both those inmates that qualified and also the DOC WORKER WHO UNDER A LOT OF STRESS and CONCERNS FOR THEIR OWN FAMILIES, Please look more into those options, I’m very concerned about my love one thats comfined with a stressed out STAFF.
