The masks are not just to help try and protect you from getting the virus, they are also to protect from people who are carring it with no visible symptoms. Meaning that can help contain a cough or a Sneeze from someone who thought they only have allergies.
Note: be smart wash your hands before you take off the mask and after you take it off, before touching everything.

According to the mask manufacturer, surgical masks are only good, up to 60mins.under dry circumstances, which means if you are not breathing. Breathing while wearing a surgical mask, the protection limit is 20-30mins, and then the protection integrity starts to be compromised.

I am not sure homemade masks will work, and I agree , where do we get a “safe” mask. We all may be self infecting ourselves too, if we dont properly take off our mask and disinfect it.
Not criticizing any one who wears one and takes care proper care in removing them and disinfecting them

they’re grabbing at straws. they want to give people the thought they are doing something to stop the virus. now they need to tell em where you can get these face coverings. good luck.

Since the virus is so very tiny, wouldn’t the virus
pass right thru the homemade cloth coverings?
