On the other hand, he is still alive and trying to help would-be burglars stay that way with the generous warning. (Some are not so generous.) When people break into your home, you have no assurance they are unarmed, no reason to assume you and your family are safe.

Some people are just plain selfish and want money to buy other things
….trust me-many use drugs as an excuse to steal, thinking they will
get “help” rather than the prison sentence they actually deserve. I
have personal knowledge with someone in our family!
