Hold on to whatever positive memories you have. I pray that you find healing and are able to use your experience to enlighten or encourage at least one person... so that his death may not be in vein. Criminal activity is so high that we forget that those involved and affected by it are people. Instead of having a compassionate heart we jump to judgement. It hurts me to see that the only two comments on this are making fun of the murder of a young person. Believe it or not, but Desmond has a family. Most likely (here is my judgement) he did not live a "clean" life which lead to this situation. But that does not excuse murder. He should not be dead. Now he has a grieving family that only wishes his life would have been lived differently. As we go forward, my hope is that we can all remember the value of life. One person can change the world. Can we please try lifting each other up instead of tearing each other down? People need to know they are loved. People need to know that they are capable of making better choices. & yes I believe people need the Savior Lord God! Prayers for the family who lost a loved one.
