There are things like weed-b-gone to attack the weeds without nitrogen if need be. But you’d want to plan that in the schedule so you don’t ruin the chance to overseed. Kill weeds late spring, use pre-emergent to stop new weeds, and plan to overseed after the heat of summer allows for it. Do pre-energent separately. One that has no nitrogen.
