What people aren’t realizing is this person may not even live in this county at the moment and may have been tested in a nearby city. If Escambia County is their home of record then thats what gets logged. Thats why i feel they should release all information on the patient so we can act accordingly and and get passed this chaos faster.

No name, or location should be given. It shouldn’t make a difference where they are. You should already be self quarantining yourselves, and acting like the virus is in your town. That is what is going to stop the spread of this virus.

I can understand withholding the name. But the location should absolutely be given!! The hometown where they live , any places they may have shipped or traveled to in the past 2 weeks. THAT SHOULD BE MADE PUBLIC SO OTHERS HAVE A FIGHTING CHANCE.. At this rate, it will continue to spread like wild fire.

First, it’s a violation of federal laws to release the name of this person.

Second, with the kind of idiots we have in this world today, if that information WERE released, you’d better believe there’d be some crazies out there who would, at best, harass these people and their families, and, at worst, do them physical harm!

Third, if this were you or your family, you’d want that same protection of your identity.

By all means, the authorities SHOULD be letting us know what town they’re in, where they’ve shopped over the last three weeks, if they attended school or church and where, etc, but they are 100% correct, legally and ethically, in withholding any and all personally identifiable information.

Names are a must , how can the rest of us no , to self quarantine quicker , and slow the transfer of COVID19 ! I LIVE IN ESCAMBIA COUNTY.if I had contact with that person , oh yea you failed to add a name, Damn a privacy policy when a name could stop hundreds from contracting corona virus. Thus; slowing it ability to move from human to human , to a surface and and back to humans , on your shoes , cloths , door knobs, gas pump handles , money , on and on you may not contract it , you could bring it home to a love one ! There death now is because of your negligence .my point. Is a NAME . .
