I’m an HRS child taken from my loving family only because they were poor and sold to the rich….that only abused me everyway possible and got away with it because they had money. Now as an adult I still see now known as DCF the name changed but not the situation in which they treat children. Who’s the real vilions the parents that need help or the department in which calls themselves protecting the children. That don’t love them or cares about them ?????

It’s not the judges dishing out the low bonds, it’s probably the law and they are just following that. Maybe somebody should try getting lawmakers in government to change them.

But dcf will take a kid out of a nice loving home if someone has marijuana in their system… LOL
dcf isnt good for anything besides collecting a check. Florida DCF has really dropped the ball for a lot of kids that need it and messes up a lot of families who dont deserve their kids being taken.

Enrolled in “Florida Virtual School” obviously means there is no checking of attendance or whereabouts of the kids. Wondering if there’s any follow up if a kid hasn’t signed in for a number of days?
Sounds like this boy is one more who completely “Fell thru the cracks” of all the systems out there to care for and protect him.
Hope that the Lord leads someone good to take this youngster in and raise him with care and love.

Why didn’t the adult male, even though he was arrested, tell the authorities that there was a child in the home that he had been watching and was responsible for? There is another adult at fault here. I have a feeling that there is more to this story.

My first instinct is how on earth is this person out on $5000 bond???
If it were an animal left it would be much higher..
For her to go back weeks later and leave padtries shows she absolutely knew what she had done…
Even under the worst of circumstances she could have called somebody for help.
What took neighbors so long to call, ..people want to mind thee own business but if a child is coming to you for food and water you need to react promptly…this is more than sad, its a community disgrace.
