@Sherry Ewy—New York has a “castle doctrine”. Sorry, but that doesn’t have a real meaning for the residents of the very large population of New York City. Other than law enforcement, business owners & a very few others, ownership of guns in that city is banned/forbidden.

I dont know how to take some of these comments… Just let it be known. I will not hesitate to shoot and ask questions later. The lives living in this house is much more precious to me then a low life thug trying to take something that doesn’t belong to them. Just saying.

Just think, an 18-20 adult in the state of Florida can no longer legally purchase a firearm to protect themselves and family from crimes such as Home Invasion.
Elections matter.

New York has a “castle doctrine” allowing you to murder intruders with your gun in your home. I’m not sure why you’d think they wouldn’t? But then again, nobody has ever, to my knowledge, ever suggested that we can’t defend our own homes. Ever. Nobody has ever suggested I relinquish my gun, or not use my gun if I needed to. This is not a second amendment issue

yeah, i love the 2nd Amendment, too. you know, JTV, there are places where u could move like NYC that don’t allow gun ownership, i’m sure the crime rate is way lower there.

the people that want guns banned have probably never been robbed or home invaded.

@ JTV, I hope you’re being serious saying this because the victim in this crime absolutely defended his property with a gun he owned due to his 2nd amendment right to own said firearm. Had he not had it it may have been out his property and/or his life. I think it’s awesome that he winged the would-be robber and it’d be even better if he did more damage. Too bad to old ain’ see’d nuffin’ way of doing business kicked in. Nothing will improve with this kind of stuff as long as witnesses continue to have blind spells of convenience.
