My Aunt Was killed by a habitual violator! Light had no bearing when this reckless ,violent thug made the decision to steal another car and get high.

The person turning at the light at Tom Thumb has the right of way if it’s green for that driver not the car turning on red at 97 .The driver on 97 supposed to yield to traffic’s with green light first ,then turn on red.

To Joy. Unless there has been a sign posted there in the past two days. Turning right on red after stop is legal in Florida unless posted. and although performing a u-turn into Tom Thumb. is not illegal. it is not a safe maneuver. there is no sign posted for no u-turn.

that intersection must have serious issues with when to go
or not for all vehicles . maybe gates like RR would help ?

I can explain all the wrecks at that intersection simply people are not paying attention to their driving and they are in such a hurry to get where they are going.

Can someone please explain to me why there are so many wrecks there at that intersection. I live in Alabama but come to Pensacola to shop often and travel through that intersection. All those new lights and signs I just don’t see how there is so many accidents there.

When they build the truck stop across from Tom Thumb… Might as well have an ambulance on standby by there 24/7.
