My father and his “Raymond” we’re close friends at Tate. At my grandparents house in Cantonment I’d often look at our dad’s yearbook pictures and imagine life before me, Ray and Jamie were born. I was 16 but mainly younger when I’d play with Ray and Jamie. Sometimes to rarely I’d see Johnny Ray. I’d play with other’s in area too as my Aunt Judy and cousin’s lived near them. Best years of my life like most kid’s. Especially the River. Now I’m 61 retired and was a High Voltage Power Lineman for my Career. My sister back then was named “Beth”. The Bellamy brothers – the Daniel brothers- Gibbs brothers – Tracie Slay- Etc Etc I’d play with too. Johnny Ray’s dad “Raymond” also attended Tate with many of my uncle’s. Everybody to most everybody of my click is long ago dead. I’m in no hurry but I’ll be glad to reunite with them all and resume our party. Yal here after me: keep on persavering in the midsts of yals adversaries. Pain & long-suffering is your Gold.

Sorry to hear of Johnny Ray passing. I worked with him and he was a Good Person. Always joking around and having a good time. R.I.P. Johnny Ray. I send my deepest sympathy and Condolences to His Family

I was so sad to hear of Johnny Ray’s passing. Back in the day, we always had such a good time together-he definitely kept you laughing the entire time! He will be missed in the Molino Community. Prayers to the Chance family, I know his children, grandchildren, siblings and mother are just heartbroken over his loss.
Rest in peace Johnny Ray.
