I wonder how long it will be until the locals will be unable to use our lovely local resources, such as Escamvia River, for camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting because of the chemical fertilizers causing algae bloom, and chemical pesticides that usually wind up in our local bodies of water, and the dumping of "stored water" and whatever else winds up in the water that we have no idea about by the mills and plants.
But we're not about to try and make a change, that would be too inconvenient to worry about the future of our land/children's land or resources.
And it would cost too much money, like the arm and leg we're already paying companies like Gulf Power.
I remember when we had pride in where we grew up and the ability to have such a wonderful life in the "country." I believe all we take pride in now is the almighty dollar.
