Hoping “New Blood” will bring better communications and public relations between the taxpaying customers and the board.

Heard Yadda-Yadda about Term Limits on School Board Members — don’t really agree with that, feel too much State influence on Local Governing by WE the People.

Term Limits for the ECUA — Not THAT is something that would have Our Support as some are making this taxpayer payroll into a lifetime position.

I am glad they went outside of the “Good ol’ Boy network and bought in some fresh, young and educated manager/director. Maybe you can shake up this utility and get it back to customer first, respectable values and getting the paying customers bang for the buck. Observation: Reevaluate who and why company vehicles are driven home. Conduct a study and see that the cost vs. the need is. You will probably discover massive savings to the customer… Thank you and good luck sir.

They didn’t want this guy in the 2nd go round of interviews and now he is good for ECUA? How about we ask why St Joseph Missouri had a closed meeting to decide to suspend him last year? “Saint Joseph’s City Council will decide Tuesday night – in a closed session – whether to renew City Manager Bruce Woody’s contract. Tuning Fork believes the decision is easy. No.” Hmmm

I’m glad ECUA filled the position, but not with $160,00 of our money. If I have any issues with ECUA and their services, I will be contacting Woody so he can earn his pay.

He will soon learn how sorry their garbage and recycle pickup service is. Some weeks you have it picked up on time and some weeks a day later and your can crushed by large trucks.
