The sentence is a joke, life without parole should be the only sentence other than death for these monsters. They can NOT be fixed, castration doesn’t work because the problem is in their brain and counseling is ineffective. Full and total lobotomy may help, but even afterwards they should never be allowed to be in society again.

The guy turned himself in knowing it’s a slow suicide suicide. I am wondering what was going on in his head?
Something he couldn’t handle and he decided to get killed by a court? But this is a slow death over the next many years.
If he couldn’t handle it, he could have put a bullet into his instead of 100% being slowly rotten to death in a prison.

Carlos,
Florida doesn’t have parole. He may qualify for gain time, which would mean he will serve 21 years, 3 months minimum. If he doesn’t, he will serve the entire 25 years.

I just don’t understand it. He threw his whole life away. He also probably has ruined the child’s childhood. I hope he has to spend the full twenty five years in prison with no parole.
