Good for them, police do not right tickets on private property, and yes if your daughter or loved one felt scared they are coming out. It’s an auto accident which means it’s a civil matter. You won’t get a ticket for an expired tag on private property only on a public street. Now days everyone has to have their hand held. FHP won’t respond to an accident if it less than $500 in damages on a public street and on private property.

The PPD cannot attract or retain enough officers. The last I heard, they were down about 25%, but I do not claim that as a fact. This is what happens when you pay poverty wages. I told my kids to call the police if they ever got into an accident. Would you want your young daughter working the situation out alone with someone after they hit her car in a dark parking lot?

That is right on Superduper….That is the first thing a insurance company will ask for is a police report…..Been there done that

Don’t insurance companies ask for police reports to gather info as to who’s at fault?
Seems like if a person is uninsured or tags expired would be money in the court system if a ticket is issued, stupid people get caught in accidents like having illegal items or may have a warrant.
