Why doesnt west Florida build a walk over like the one from west Florida to across street near the school??

West Florida hospital is NOT a trauma center. They won’t even accept critical trauma patients if it happened in their own parking lot. So, yes Brian, the patient was taken to Sacred Heart, the correct trauma facility. EMS actually knows what they are doing.

That is terrible! Prayers go out to the family during this difficult time. As a city can we focus now on keeping people from jaywalking rather that punish drivers for driving in the road? Almost no one in this city crosses at a crosswalk. I’ve had people step out in front of me many times and I’m expected to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting them. That’s dangerous to not only pedestrians (what if my brakes don’t work that fast) but also to the people behind me. If we really want to see a decrease in pedestrian fatalities, we need to make sure everyone is following the laws.
