Are you serious about your statement?( If drugs were finally decriminalized, as they should be, we would see an immediate reduction in violent crimes) That statement has too be the craziest one I have read in a long time .Evidently you haven’t seen what drug addiction has done to individuals or families.

This is a perfect example of unintended consequences of government intervention. This incident of theft and violence and others are a direct effect of the government’s prohibition of drugs. If drugs were finally decriminalized, as they should be, we would see an immediate reduction in violent crimes, theft of property, and health related issues from drugs manufactured in an improperl manner or in unhealthy conditions.

Unnecessary violence created by government intervention. Drug prohibition was a ridiculous idea when it began and it’s even more ridiculous now that we’ve seen the effects of prohibition. It’s time for drugs to be decriminalized.

Trevor Ross, the suspect in this story was charged with “Strong Arm Robbery” a third degree felony and was given a $2500 bond. In addition he was charged with “Aggravated Child Abuse” due to the injuries of the minor received when he drug her with his truck. That charge is a First degree felony and the bond was $50,000.

The suspect who was involved in the traffic crash while fleeing from Deputies was charged with several crimes:
Fleeing from Law Enforcement w/Lights a& Siren activated – 3rd degree felony – $5000 bond;
Possession of a Controlled Substance w/o a prescription – 3rd degree felony – $5000 bond;
Evidence destroying – 3rd degree felony – $5000 bond;
No Valid Drivers License – 2nd degree misdemeanor – $1000 bond
Resisting arrest w/o violence – 1st degree misdemeanor – $1000 bond.

All of the bonds listed for both subjects were within range of the guidelines recommended by the State Attorneys Office.

Wonder why his bond is higher than the guy who injured people by causing a wreck after fleeing from the police and not having a valid drivers license and having a drug not intended for him? Hmmm.
