Stop thee bleeding and get rid of the Mayor and all the council members. Century can’t even pay their bills but yet they vote to spend more of the tax payers money. What does it take to wake up the people of this town. Lets void this contract and get rid of the garbage in Century starting with the Mayor. .

Lets see…say its three(3) 10 hour days per week. thats $50 per
day for travel and $400 per day in pay. no pension, no insurance,
no vacation. seems a bit high but compared to bureaucrats though out
Government maybe its a good deal ! I’d also think His expertise is
what the doctor ordered for the people of Century!

What does the Mayor’s job include?
I thought the Mayor was supposed to run the town.

When is his contract up? Can he be fired at anytime? Hopefully the next mayor wont need Prather to run the city for him. A less expensive fix would be a full time Grant writer and a competent mayor. I’m not sure the bunch that’s running century could run a McDonald’s .
