I had the distinct pleasure of working for Mayor Ted Jennings when he was a member of the board of the South Alabama Regional Planning Commissiom (SARPC). I was both surprised and saddened when I was informed of his passing. Mayor Jennings was an active and influential member of the SARPC board supporting and providing guidance to all of the various programs of SARPC. These programs not only benefitted the City of Brewton but all off the municipalities in the three county region (Baldwin, Escambia, and Mobile). My sincere condolences to Ted’s family and the citizens of Brewton and Escambia County, AL. But he will be missed by all of the citizens of Alabama.

So sorry to hear about this. I worked with Mr. Jennings at Rite-Aid pharmacy in Brewton while I was in college. He was always very kind & friendly to me. I am sorry to hear of his passing; he will be missed.
