To the men and women of the Escambia County Sheriffs Office, you do a great job. The community should be proud of you. Now, David Morgan is once again showing his childish narcissistic tendencies. You cannot find another Sheriff in this country who has acted this petty and juvenile during a terrorism event. Not one! You withdrew all of your officers from every single task force that existed with the feds, to include the Joint Terrorism Task Force. They even offered to give a command staff member a security clearance along with the officer, but you don’t play well with others when you’re not the center of attention. You threatened to take away Sheriff’s commission cards from the Pensacola Police Department if they in any way assisted in the duties of a task force officer, working with the feds. You use a tragedy to further your own image each and every time something happens. Of course this will never be your fault and you will spin it as a great injustice that was done to you personally. This all started when a Senior Attorney at the US Attorneys Office supported someone opposing Morgan. One day the public will know what damage you’ve done to the department! If not for the great people that work there to keep it afloat the organization would barely function.

FBI is the lead agency. There are numerous other federal agencies involved.
