You are right. There is a double standard….Florida law provides the double standard by giving current and former law enforcement, etc the right to have their mugshots withheld from public record. We can’t run a mugshot we can’t get from the jail. It’s worth noting though, the law does not prevent us from running their photograph if we have one of our own…we have ran our own photos of arrested LEOs in the past.

I wonder how this will impact any cases he was involved in, since at one point during his career he no longer had Florida credentials to be a law enforcement officer.
