So, let me see if I understand this. Was pointing a gun, at a potential buyer of illicit drugs some sort of high pressure sales pitch? Was it to try and leverage their silence? Was a gun or drugs found when the person was apprehended? Why were there no charges for the drugs, guns, or the use of the gun in the commission of the crime? The story does not seem to add up…..

Cathy, in my experience, if a judge is assigning such a low bond, it’s because the case doesn’t make sense. Things aren’t adding up. Judges assign real bonds for people they think are truly guilty and deserve to be in jail. Baby bonds like this are for people that the judge is pretty confident isn’t guilty, or there’s not going to be enough evidence to actually have a case.

How can we even hope to reduce crime in Pensacola when our judges assign such a low bond– $1,000 for pointing a gun at two children? This was a legal adult pointing a gun at children playing basketball- incredible.

I will be pushing the issue!!! One of the kids was mine that he pointed the gun at!!!!! I WILL BE AT EVERY SINGLE COURT HEARING!!!! I will NOT BE A LAY DOWN WHEN IT COMES TO MY 14 year old child!!!!!!!!

I’m just saying, people comment on this site all the time, not knowing anything. I know this guy, and his family. Remember, innocent until proven guilty. I have 1000% faith that this didn’t actually happen, and people are making false allegations. People are so quick to comment and judge. Obviously we want our county to be safe, but we also don’t want innocent people going down on some incorrect information.

The judge that set that bond needs investigated 2 x felony ..$ 1,000.00
Judge must have been celebrating ….
