This bridge has been there a long time and seen a lot of traffic. Time to replace not repair. Of course that will mean using 168 for awhile, traveling from Century to Atmore on 168 is about the same, actuall once you get past 4A it is much straighter and safer. Those two bridges needs to be replaced and the road needs to be totally resurfaced. We, that have to travel why 4 every day are really tired of the wear and tear on our vehicles. At least the Bratt road bridge and HWY 168 provide alternate routes. Not abandoning Roach Road to Pine Barren Road and HWY 164 would have helped too. This road needs repaving bad and the old bridges and replaced with modern/updated to code bridges. New painted stripes is not going to help the rough bumpy roads that takes a toll on our vehicles and the drop off on both sides of the road on/off the bridges.
