@Timely fashion, I disagree with the illusion of time. Time is my sense applies to durations, measured in seconds and on into years ect. A star is born, burns until it’s hydrogen is exhausted and it dies. The measurement of time is a human construct, but time and space are interconnected in ways that I do not completely understand. Before space, there was no time, but what was the duration of the period for which there was no space? I am not even going to attempt to go into relativity, velocities, gravity and their effects on the passing of time.

Just because there is not a self aware entity to perceive the passing of time, this does not mean that the clock is not ticking. Moreover I believe that God is the only entity that exist outside of time, however I do not understand the dynamics or the mechanics of such.

theres 24 time zones and each originally was about
1038 miles (15 ) degrees across. the earth is spinning
@ about 1038 MPH. The Earth is about 24,902 miles
around @ the Equator. so sunlight is moving( earth spinning)
@ about 1038 mph which would circumnavigate the globe
in 24 hours. all of this was designed by MAN and yet MAN
ain’t satisfied with that and keeps changing things to suit
a minority. Theres almost 8 billion humans on this Earth. i’d
suggest keeping more than two or three of them happy
(about anything) is a problem!

Time is an illusion, our perception of its flow doesn’t correspond to physical reality. Reality is just a complex network of events onto which we project sequences of past, present and future. Time isn’t real, it’s just a product of our conscientiousness. The government can make the clock be anything they want, who cares.

I like winter time better. I like it getting dark earlier and though I understand that most people like day light savings time, I don’t. I love this time of year, when it cools off, and gets dark early.

Please keep daylight savings time. It is just horrible to go to work in the dark and not get home until it is dark. I feel like all I am doing is working. I cannot do anything outside after work because it is dark by the time I get home.

I wish we could be in the Eastern Time Zone like the rest of Florida; as well as getting rid of the time change. I used to live on the western edge of the Central Time Zone and I loved how light it stayed in the evenings. I totally understand the reasons why people would not want to be in the Eastern Time Zone (I have a friend that works in Escambia County but lives in Alabama so I totally get that aspect of it) but that it is just how I feel. Personally.

Stop changing the time, next time change leave it permanently.

People could be out an about after work, exercise is important for a out of shape nation

Auto accidents increase, heart attacks increase, changing time messes with everyone’s internal clock even animals that are used to being fed and walked at a certain time. I just love getting home after dark, “not”.

“Well, it is my hope that Sunday, November 3 will be the last time we have to do this ridiculous changing of the clocks back and forth,” said Rubio. “It makes absolutely no sense, there’s no justification for it. It has strong support in the House and in the Senate, the White House, the president said he would sign it. I hope we can get this bill passed because I just think it makes all the sense in the world, and this changing of the clocks back and forth makes no sense at all.”

As someone that regular does business in Alabama & Florida, it would be a massive headache if Florida eliminated DST unless Alabama did the same. Until Alabama also passes something to eliminate DST, then we need to keep DST in the panhandle.

My dog is used to having her breakfast at 6 am. Now she wakes me at 5 am and wont leave me alone until she gets breakfast at HER 6 am that is now MY 5 am.

In view of the above it seems obvious there is no valid reason to change time twice a year!
