Trisha – ECUA does have a call-out alert notification system. You can sign up for it at this page on the ECUA website. https://ecua.fl.gov/ecua-notification-system-sign-up
In the case of this notice, 5 residences were affected by the Precautionary notice and they were notified directly. Hope that helps.

While I appreciate ECUA’s due diligence, they need to implement a call out or text service to let residents and businesses know when a boil notice is in place; even if only precautionary. This is the first I’ve read of this and I live nearby.

At 2,000 gallons per minute, that’s a LOT of water.

The wells pump up that much water…
