I know people who received 30 years in prison and killed no one. But was sentenced under 10, 20, life. What happen to that law? If it is not ineffect today? Why can’t those inmates who killed no one be resentenced to a lesser time, they have already spent 21 years in prison and still have 5 to go. The system just does not work for some.

I believe that if someone kills someone during an illegal drug transaction there should be a penalty of not more than $5. It gives both sides something to think about.

There were no upstanding citizens in this case. After the drug dealer realized his money was worthless he went back and tried to forcefully get his illegal marijuana back. I have no pity for him, or them. There was no mention if this was plea bargained or not.

The judge that handed these sentences needs to be fired. We need legislation that would allow for swift execution in these crimes.

I don’t understand why the shooter was charged with manslaughter. “There was a struggle and Jones shot Berry four times in the upper chest.” To my thinking, manslaughter is when you inadvertently kill someone. Killing them was not your intent, such as there’s a struggle and the weapon accidentally goes off. You can’t accidentally shoot someone four times. This was murder.

15 years for murder in a drug deal gone wrong? No mention of charges on the counterfeit money. Should have been life! Well aleast she was smiling for her mug shot.

She shot him to death and gets 15 years? sentenced for a murder!!!! 15 years???? that’s it???????
