I see many Buses with few riders. Routes with low ridership needs cutting.
Buses running routes with low ridership is a waste of taxpayer money.

I don't understand why everyone hates on ECAT so much. Why are people so hateful to an essential community service? I admit that there are some faults with the system but over the years the first response to them has been to cut service instead of actually trying to improve it. I've seen the routes and services repeatedly cut until I feel bad for the people who rely on it because it can take them hours and hours to travel on the buses, most of that additional time is spent waiting because the next bus that they need to transfer to doesn't run for as much as two hours later. I've been fortunate that I've almost always had a car but last year my car broke down and due to circumstances I was without it for nearly a month and had to use the bus several times and I'm glad that they are available to those who need them.

Does this mean our county commission will revoke the gas tax that funded this black hole?

My commish is now the mayor of pensacola. He defended the gas tax and the ECAT endeavor.

What say you County Commissioner...I mean Mayor G ROB.
