Our “justice” system has failed this young man terribly. The fact that he was incarcerated based solely on the false accusations of a desperate, mentally and emotionally unstable teenage female with absolutely no proof/evidence of her claims is completely absurd!! The police involved in this case should be ashamed of themselves! Nonetheless, the TRUTH will be revealed and I hope that when she is found to be the liar that she is, justice will finally be served!

You only know as much about a person as they want you to know. It’s possible for anyone to get out of a passionate friendship/relationship and become obsessed with getting some sort of revenge. He probably had a bad day and saw her and just went for it. He needs to learn how to control his emotions or he will continue to be a danger to himself and everyone around him. Of course friends and family are saying he wouldn’t do such a thing because they only know the Dawon that he wants them to know. I know the Dawon that cheats on his girlfriends, pushes them for sex & and the Dawon that tries to run over a young girl that he was never allowed to date in the first place. The people claiming this was a joke are absolutely absurd.. You act like it’s so normal for a grown man to try to run over a girl that he had history with. I bet if he was charged with rape y’all would still try to make the accused sound like a victim. Teens and young adults in Cantonment are crazy but trying to hit people with cars is not how we handle things in the South. He needs to learn how to be a functioning, emotionally stable adult or he needs to go to Lakeview.

Hopefully police can pull video from campus cameras to support or refute victims statement and settle the matter. Or maybe they have already?

So he drove a vehicle in her direction and swerved at the last second. What if he had fired a gun in her direction, or just pointed it at her, not intending to hit, or harm, her but just to scare her. Same thing!!
I am so tired of hearing people defend others actions by saying they are good people. Well good people make bad choices and this is one of those times.
Driving a car at person is the same as pointing a gun at person, and they both should be viewed the same, because they both can have deadly consequences. The young man, for what ever reason, made a very bad decision, and he needs to admit to it and not try and make an excuse for what he did. Admitting to a problem or bad behavior is the first step in correcting it.

Somehow the victim here is being overlooked. She would not have filed a complaint had she not felt in fear. And especially since she knew him. Doesn’t make sense if she knew him as the “kind” person they claim, something says there is more here than being reported. She has more infomration or they would not be prosecuting.
