Everyone has an opinion. My husband is an over the road truck driver. He had his own business for 20 yrs prior to becoming a truck driver not only that he served his country as a Marine. So to make the statement “big truck drivers are not qualified to do anything else” is totally unfounded. If you want to insult people keep your opinion to yourself, and the next time you cut off a big truck or do any other stupid driving act around a big truck, be thankful that driver was skilled enough to avoid a potential incident

Anyone ever notice the tires on these dump trucks? They are bald without tread on most of them. They are dangerous and so are the cement trucks. Big trucks are my pet peeve….they cause so much damage to the roads and to others. Most drivers of big trucks are not qualified for anything …so they figure they will be drivers.

Anytime I get a green light at an intersection such as this, I look for big vehicles approaching, ignoring the horn blowers behind me. It has worked….so far.

The guys are injured but are still here to talk about it though they have a long way to getting back on the job. They are both very skilled tradesmen that work hard to do their jobs correct. This area is had bad wrecks as long as I can remember. There is alot going on at this intersection.

I’ve said in the past, people are in too big a hurry. If that dump truck driver had stopped for that red light, yes, it make his day go a little slower, but the wreck and injuries he caused would not have happened. His stop would have only lasted a few minutes. Unfortunately, the wreck delayed, not only the drivers, but a lot of uninvolved people that were blocked in the aftermath of his bad choice, me being one of them.

Advice…STOP at red lights.
