There are several folks that stop for the train properly everyday. If one person doesn’t do it right it messes up the whole works… says the LT to the junior guy… Gotta do it right… Glad you’re okay ole’ man…

People stop on those tracks all the time. I am glad it was not worse. I understand the frustration of the 5PM train. It feels like when the engineers stop there they stop and eat at Wendy’s. They must love their burgers

Good Gravy is it REALLY so very urgent that “the driver” get onto the train tracks to try and get someplace a bit earlier than having to wait?
You “the driver” are BLESSED that you had no injuries. Hopefully, you got the heck out of the truck Before it was Hit. What you and your family may want to do is Hit Your Knees in Prayer of Thanksgiving.

Good to hear there were no reported injuries. All the more reason why you dont pull forward of the “stop line” (or block a train track) if you arent fully able to clear a railroad crossing. Never know when a train might approach.
