@Melanie Ronis, unfortunately, every major news organization in the United States is a liberal platform today. They recognized the importance of media long ago and started buying out all the printed newspapers and television news stations and greed let it happen.

PNJ is crap. I have called numerous times now to have them STOP delivering the paper since I no longer want it nor will I pay for it. They keep littering my yard with their newspaper that I no longer want. They will not stop throwing but keep sending me a bill which I do not pay. . My Dad worked for the news Journal for over 50 years starting as a paper boy and moved up the ranks until he was in charge of Production. That was back in the 70’s and 80’s and he was pushed out by upper management in the early 90’s when they started downsizing the staff and getting rid of all the good employees. And here we are today with a paper that is not worth the paper it is printed on. They also are LIBERALS / DEMOCRAPS and not fair at all on what they report, especially Andy Marlett (sp) and his stupid cartoons he draws up which shows he is bias as heck. We do not need the PNJ to tell us what is going on in the Political world and try to influence our thinking. We are all smart enough to think for ourselves, Thank you very much !

I hope the clean house at PNJ. It’s nothing but a tool for the left. They don’t even hide it anymore. They aren’t journalists…. They’re activists. Plus they are doing terrible and it’s obvious.

The papers & TV news have done it to themselves. Trying to mind
control the great unwashed. Improper topics and reporting of very
little real news and regurgitating a slanted take whether truth is revealed
or not . Integrity is gone and entertainment is the golden rule chasing
the ratings. Sixty years ago I delivered ( paper-boy ) the PNJ and the
cost was $3.30 per mo. that’s about 10 cent a day and I got a cut of it
( very small ) for delivering at my expense of time and collecting. A small
amount of Fox ( ratings driven ) and reading North Escambia.com. daily is
about it for me ! The USA has drastically changed over the last 30 years !
The big question is where are we heading ? Anybody ?

You in Pensacola should know.our Montgomery, Al. Paper was Gannett owned, bought also within the last 2 weeks by same conglamorate, Montgomery paper sux, is additional mullet wrap & worthless as recent (within 36 hours) Local News,.my neice moved from Mtgy to Pensacola 20 months ago, with Coldwell-Banker (Fl. Licensed Agent, highest Grade in her class). And Me and my wife(and my son’s family in Sandy Springs, Ga. Have visited about 6 timez, we Love Pensacola, she lives inEast Hill, beautiful neighborhood
