You mean to tell me that if I decide to run out in the street and you hit me and I die you should go to jail Forever 1. As kids we were taught how to cross the street and how the road works 2. The convicted man had a family he was taken away from because another persons stupidity but white folks love to see that that man has to suffer because adults can’t comprehend the rules of the road I understand he was wrong for not staying but think of it this way would you stop if you hit a possum j walking no you wouldn’t so why would I stop for stupidity 3. The news clearly stated that the pedestrian was in the wrong but two wrongs don’t make right but neither does 10 years of you not being able to watch your children 4. They ain’t know the pedestrians life what if he was trying to die there were plenty of people that time of the day if he stayed or left that man would still be dead either way

This is just inviting DUI drivers to run. Wait for the cops and get 20 or run and sober up for 10. The penalty should be double instead of half.
